Hi! As the President of the Clifton Christian Union I oversee the running of the CU and lead the exec to help the CU spread the good news of the gospel to our campus. I am really excited for what lies ahead of the CU this year! If you have any questions then please get in touch!

 

Hi I’m Rob, current Vice-President of Clifton CU. My job in the CU is to support Rachel in the overall running, as well as looking out for all the CU members. I feel that, as a CU, we should be focused on what it means to be Christians at Uni, which means finding our own way of exploring what we believe and how we share it. My vision for CU is a place where Christianity and Uni-culture combine, letting the gospel shape our lives and giving other people a chance to find out what it’s all about. Feel free to come and chat with me about any questions, problems or ideas!

 

Hello!! As worship leader I am in charge of the worship on Thursday meetings as well as at any other events that the CU put on. I believe that worship is deeper than music and singing and am keen to try new ways that we can worship our Lord! I am contently looking for extra members for the band so even if you play the triangle bring it along! Other than that i can't wait to meet you in September and have a great holiday!

 

Hi all! I will be organising and publicising all the evangelistic events the CU puts on and will be encouraging everyone to tell the campus about Jesus. As a Christian Union we are all about Evangelism and getting everyone to hear the great news about Jesus. Our vision this year as a CU is to get everyone on campus to be thinking about Jesus and truths he brings. Any questions do get in touch!

 

I make decisions about CU small groups (what we study/ where we study etc) and lead the bible studies once a week. I believe that, as a CU, it is important that we meet together to study God's word to grow individually and as a team of believers so that we can be fully prepared to reach the campus for Christ. Small Groups are also an opportunity for us to get to know each other individually and to encourage one another in our Christian walk, and University life etc. So would be great to see you there!

 

I am in charge of keeping the accounts for the CU and budgeting for the any events we run.

 

 

 

Hello!!! As the secretary of Clifton CU, my main job is to organise the speakers for our Thursday meetings. I believe the Word of God is important and that it should never be neglected. It helps us to get to know God more so we can have a better relationship with Him and through the Word He reveals himself to us: 'He revealed himself to Samuel through his word' (1Samuel 3v21). I am excited for what God is going to do and it would be great if you would come along and be part of it.
