The first week of Uni is always exciting! New friends, new coursemates, new house, maybe the first time living away from your parents. Either way, it can be both awesome and intimidating. As a CU, we want to welcome everyone and especially all the Christians that have joined Nottingham Trent this year or those that have been have previously.
We’d like to offer an invitation for you to come to some events during Freshers’ week (without wanting to take too much time from you!) and get you to meet some new friends here that most of us would say are the most important friendships they’ve had at university.

Monday: Event for International students... Meet at Library at 2 o'clock... A chance to meet other international students!
Wednesday: Pub Quiz... Meet at Library at 7 o'clock... All are welcome!
Thursday: Get Involved Fair... Come and say hello to us and find out more info between 11 and 4 about the CU at our stand at the fair in the Student's Union!
Friday: Goose Fair... Meet at Library at 7 o'clock... Come and get to know others at the CU at Nottingham's famous goose fair!
Saturday: Grub Crawl... Meet at the Library at 4 o'clock... Three Course Meal - Different course, different house! Sign up at the get involved fair or get in touch by email or text!
Sunday: Church Search... Go along to a church with other CU members. Sign up at the Get Involved fair or get in touch with us by email or phone!
If you’d like to be involved in the Christian Union, but miss us at any of the Freshers’ events, email us at exec@trentcu.com or come to one of the main meetings on a Wednesday evening.
It’d be great for you to get involved and don’t feel as though you’ll be forgotten, it’d be awesome to have loads of new (and old!) people join and learn more about what it means to be a Christian at university and having fun at the same time!
